One of the things that we know of with certainty about the Duchess of Cambridge is that she is lucky enough to live in some very beautiful homes with a long history of regal inhabitants. Part of the allure of these majestic homes lies in their contents. A while ago, we looked at the decorating tenets that Kate follows when decorating her home, and one of those included the value Kate had assumed in merging historical pieces in combination with modern elements to create something unique all of her own. We turned to the depths of Etsy for some ideas and thought we would share with you some of our favourite vintage royal memorabilia items that anyone could add to their homes to add a splash of regal inspiration… Without the inherited family history!

Little pieces like this are often the perfect amount of vintage for a modern home. (Unless you’re talking the gorgeous couch above. Then you’re talking statement piece!) We’d love to hear how you’ve incorporated a little royal inspiration into your homes!
