You may have noticed that this past weekend our WWKD Official Instagram, @WWKD_Official, looked a little different as our #MyRoyalWeekend takeover happened – a popular feature where we have a reader, team member or royal fan “take over” our Instagram account to share what a Kate-inspired weekend looks like for them.
It’s no secret that we love Instagram. Whether we get to see the latest and greatest repliKates that have found their way into your closets, drool over amazing backdrops of weekend trips, fawn over pictures of your own Prince and Princesses, or learn how Kate’s charitable work has prompted yours… It’s a constant source of creative energy for those of us who seek to be inspired by the Duchess of Cambridge. Seeing fellow royal fans incorporate elements of Kate’s life into their own is not only the premise behind this very blog, but rewarding for all of us seeking to add refinement and regality to our own realities.
We were so excited to share a #MyRoyalWeekend with Instagrammers Brooke. Brooke is one-half of the super stylish mummy team behind the Cambridge Mums account. Brooke is from Australia, and channels Kate’s style for everyday outings with her precious son, Hugo.
So, what does Brooke’s royally-inspired, everyday life look like?
Brooke didn’t have to do much for her #MyRoyalWeekend feature. Between running after little Hugo and living near Sydney, her daily life looks a lot like Kate’s. She loves a cup of tea, a stylish repliKate, and a visit to an iconic royal tour spot.
Australia and the United Kingdom are vastly different countries, but that doesn’t stop the Cambridge Mums. As it is currently winter in the land of Oz, Brooke showed off some fabulous cold weather repliKates.
My favorite part of her Instagram Takeover was her visit to the Sydney Opera House! This was such a memorable stop on the Cambridge family’s tour of Australia, and it is really neat to see Brooke, Hugo, and their mummy-and-me repliKates at the same spot Kate and William greeted the Australian people!
You can check out all of Brooke’s royally-inspired weekend on the WWKD_Official Instagram feed!
Are you interested in being the next person to take over our Instagram account for #MyRoyalWeekend? We would LOVE to hear from you. You can send us a DM on Instagram or send us an e-mail and we can get rolling. If you’re curious about what is involved, we’ve typed up exactly what we would need from you – and have 10 incredible points on why it’s awesome – right here you can check out.
Stay tuned for next month’s #MyRoyalWeekend for even more inspiration on how you can lead a more regal, refined and Kate-inspired life everyday.
