This evening, Kate attended the opening night of 42nd Street musical at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in support of EACH Hospices and their Nook Appeal campaign.
Here is a description of the production: “42nd STREET is the song and dance, American dream fable of Broadway. Young Peggy Sawyer is fresh off the bus from small-town America and just another face in the chorus line on Broadway’s newest show. But when the leading lady gets injured, Peggy might just have the shot at stardom she’s always dreamed of… Broadway’s biggest show, featuring the iconic songs 42nd Street, We’re In The Money, Lullaby of Broadway, Shuffle Off To Buffalo, Dames and I Only Have Eyes For You is now playing on the West End’s biggest stage, Theatre Royal Drury Lane.”
It looks like it will be a tremendously exciting production.
Kate also met with patrons of the EACH Hospices, including Ollie Duell.
Several other actors were in attendance, with showgirls meeting guests.
Kate was a stunning leading lady in red, wearing a new deep red Marchesa Notte Embellished Tulle Midi dress.
The dress is described as being “detailed with tactile lattice and rosette motifs. Partially lined to create a sweetheart neckline, this fit-and-flare design has flexible boning and a defined bead and crystal-embellished waist.” Kate paired the dress with her burgundy Gianvito Rossi heels, red beaded beaded earrings and Mulberry clutch.
We will update with more details as they are available. Header image via @4sndStreetLDN
