Today not only marks the start of the Royal Visit to Paris, but we were treated to an engagement by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in London before departing for France. William and Kate attended the Irish Guards’ St Patrick’s Day Parade at Household Cavalry Barracks to kick off St. Patricks’ Day celebrations.
While there, Kate and William presented the 1st Battalion Irish Guardsmen with shamrocks.
Kate enjoyed an annual visit with Domhnall, the (very large) Irish Guards canine mascot as well as a pint of Guinness beer.
Today marked the debut of a new bespoke coat by Catherine Walker, in a stunning emerald green colour.
Many immediately noted the similarities between it and the custom Catherine Walker red coat from the New Zealand tour. She paired the coatdress with a green felted hat (previously seen during Christmas 2015) as well as Monica Vinader Siren earrings and green Gianvito Rossi suede pumps. There was also a new leather clutch which has not yet been identified, but we’re sure it will be soon!
Stay tuned for the rest of the busy day with #RoyalVisitParis!
