It’s hard to believe that January is more than half over, isn’t it? We were lucky enough to see the Duchess this week out and we wanted to share everything new in the world of Kate with you in this week’s edition of Keeping up with the Cambridges.
In the Press
We were so excited to unearth previously unseen photos of the Duchess of Cambridge (with huge tip of the hat to the fabulous Sarah of the Royals and I) looking casual and chic, Starbucks in hand, descending from a royal helicopter. The photos are believed to be from November 4, 2016.
Kate was also spotted out with Princess George and Princess Charlotte shopping in Norfolk at The Range. We know that is one shopping trip we would have loved to peek in on! While there were no pictures of that event, a rare image of the Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte was found on the BC Government Flickr account. The adorable photo shows Kate and Charlotte waving farewell on the last day of the Royal Visit Canada.
This week also saw confirmation that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be returning to London on a more permanent basis starting this fall, as we reported last week. The official news release from Kensington Palace should mean a marked increase in the number of engagements completed by the couple later in the year – if not increased sightings of Kate around London.
We also got to see adorable photos of Kate and Pippa as bridesmaids at their Uncle Gary’s wedding back in 1991 via the Sun. Aren’t they adorable? Picture and story via the Sun.
This week, Mary looked at how one quote from the Crown and her passion for the Duchess of Cambridge has her entering 2017 as her best self. We also covered the extremely important work that Action on Addiction does and how Kate’s patronage for the charity helps them raise awareness.
We also thank everyone for your support – we sold out of WWKD’s Spring 2017 RepliKate boxes in record time. If you didn’t get yours, the Summer 2017 pre-orders are now open.
We were treated to another royal trio engagement this week. The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry were at the The Institute of Contemporary Arts in London today this past Tuesday to discuss their Heads Together initiative leading up to the London Marathon. It’s always a treat when the Duchess speaks at an event and shares her passion for the engagement and charitable work she does.
