The Royal Trio – William, Kate, and Harry – teamed up in London to attend events to promote World Mental Health Day along with their charity Heads Together.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry attended two events today – the first at County Hall and the second on the London Eye. The theme of the day was focused on supporting and thanking friends and family through issues and crisis of mental health.
At County Hall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry met with friends and family who support, suffer, offer aid, and care for, and focus on mental health issues. They met with friends who helped each other through trying times and family members who offer mental health first aid to loves ones.
At the event, William, Catherine, and Harry all delivered short speeches. The Duchess of Cambridge said, “All of us know someone who has been through difficult emotional times, and we know how hard it can be to see a way forward.”
She continued, “William, Harry and I feel it is our duty to do what we can, with your help, to shine a spotlight on emotional wellbeing and highlight the support that is out there to prevent or manage the pain at difficult times.”

It has become clear that William, Kate, and Harry are making mental health awareness a priority in their charitable outreach. Prince Harry stated in his speech that “the more we all get behind this topic, the more we can help not just the individuals suffering, but also their entire families and work colleagues as well. Together we will break the stigma forever and save lives.”
For today’s events, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a pink floral dress by Kate Spade – a new designer for Kate. Many had hoped she would wear some of the American-based designer’s feminine, frilly frocks.
The “Encore Rose” design featured on the dress is seen throughout Kate Spade’s current collection, including a second dress, two blouses, a scarf, and even an iPhone case. This print really does seem princess-perfect.
Kate accessorized with caramel suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi and the Nina clutch from LK Bennett in Trench leather. She also wore her pink morganite earrings from Kiki McDonough.
Later in the day, the trio headed to the iconic London Eye for a #WMHD event with Heads Together. They took a classic ride on the Eye along with supporters of local mental health charities.
In the evening, the London Eye was lit purple in honor of World Mental Health Day. Today’s events show the Cambridge’s and Prince Harry’s dedication to ending the stigma and raising awareness for mental health.
