Several members of the Royal family, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, hosted an event this evening at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the achievements of Team GB athletes during this summer’s Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic games.
Prince Harry was arguably the star of today’s events, at least for Team GB’s women’s hockey team, with whom he was seen giggling. The girls loved the attention from the Prince!
The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Princess Royal and Prince Harry joined the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they spent time speaking to all the medal winners, including champion swimmer Ellie Simmonds, gymnast Max Whitlock and boxer Nicola Adams.
Kate wore a white long-sleeved Alexander McQueen dress which was covered with bouquets of red flowers in the designer’s discreet skull motif. It was a bespoke version of a dress from the designer’s Spring 2017 line which is available now for pre-order. She paired the dress with her Soru Jewelry earrings, red Gianvito Rossi pumps and red MiuMiu clutch.
Doesn’t it look like the Duke and Duchess were having a great time?
