The Cambridges went back to school – for their mental health initiatives – on cloudy, overcast day in Essex in their last joint engagement before the couple arrive in Canada.
Kensington Palace shared that the couple were eager to learn more about “…the pressures faced by young people when they are going through big changes in their lives, and learn about the support from peers and parents that can help them get through these changes. Big changes can affect people’s mental health and wellbeing, and in young people can be a trigger for mental health problems” on today’s visit.
Stewards Academy partners with Kate’s patronage and Heads Together charity partner Place2Be. The school has been working diligently to improve conversations about mental health.
There was a moment of concern when a dignitary fell while welcoming the couple, but William quickly rushed over to assist, and the man was fine.
Kate wore a new designer today, Altuzarra. The New York based designer was an unexpected but welcome choice and the flattering fit of his dress was undoubtedly what placed him in the royal radar! Kate wore the $2150 Altuzarra Pre-Fall 2016 Collection Aimee dress, a blue polka dotted dress. The dress was available at Neiman Marcus, but is now sold out.
We loved the new dress, what do you think?
This is a tough one to repliKate because the pattern is so unique! Here are some of the closest things we could find, taking into account Kate’s style!
UPDATE – reader Jordane shared this great repliKate from Nordstrom (thanks, Jordane!)
