The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge really hit the ground running! Day Two of their tour of western Canada was jam-packed with events throughout the city of Vancouver. The consensus from readers and tweeters is that Kate’s styles today were flawless, as usual. Let’s take a look at what she wore…
Outfit #1: Kate stunned in a bespoke Alexander McQueen dress. The dress featured a pattern similar to the Resort 17 line, which appears to be a white cotton with red embroidered eyelet lace. The dress featured a high neck, floral patterned buttons down the front, and a two tiered ruffled, pleated skirt. Canada’s national colors are red and white, so this was a perfect nod to the Canadian heritage. For accessories, the Duchess opted for new shoes – which we believe are the Russell & Bromley “Pinpoint” – and a new Miu Miu clutch. The shoes featured bright red suede with a pointed toe. The clutch was a fold-over rectangular handbag by Miu Miu in a “Crimson” red hue. Kate debuted new earrings – diamond and pearl drops – and also wore her Cartier Ballon de Bleu watch.
