What a treat! Today, we saw William, Kate and George at the Royal International Air Tattoo, an air show where Prince George was able to see aircraft up close, something he looked like he thoroughly enjoyed! We were not expecting to see the little Prince, so it was a surprise we were all excited about in advance of the Prince’s 3rd birthday later this month.
The Royal International Air Tattoo is the world’s largest military air show. With William having served in the search and rescue force at RAF Valley in Anglesey and with Kate as the patron of the RAF Air Cadets, it’s unsurprising that they were passionate to attend the event.
It is obviously not lost on George that his father flies helicopters as he asked “”Daddy are you going to fly us?” to William aboard the Squirrel helicopter, one William has piloted in the past.
Kate wore several repeat items to make an outfit that will seem very familiar to royal watchers! She wore her Stella McCartney Ridley dress (seen 5 times before!), her navy Smythe blazer (seen on Canada tour in 2011), L.K. Bennett Floret pumps, Alice headband from J.Crew (similar here) and Kiki McDonough Lauren earrings.
Be sure to check out the repliKates for today’s look in WWKD’s RepliKate database!
Several pieces worn today have also been added to our “As Seen on Kate” Page.
