Day three started out slowly, with almost all media being sent ahead to Kaziranga – but luckily not all! Emily Andrews was able to stay behind and get us some photos of William & Kate interacting with vulnerable children and a charity that supports them. All the details about the important events of today and the Duke and Duchess’ passion for children are here, and this post will focus solely on Kate’s fashion choices for the day.
Outfit #1 : Charitable Work with Salaam Baalak
Kate wore a casual maxi dress, by high street designer Glamorous, and Russell and Bromley flats to spend time with local children. She was able to get down on the ground and comfortably interact with them. We love that she chose an inexpensive clothing label for this tour! Kate also brought back her new Accessorize earrings, which we say on Day 1.
Dress: Glamorous UK (£50)
Earrings: Accessorize (£8)
Outfit #2 : Lunch with the Prime Minister
Catherine chose a conservative yet chic cocktail dress for a meeting and luncheon with India’s Prime Minister. The bold color looked beautiful against the colorful florals and decor for photographs. Catherine’s earrings are a new pair from Kiki McDonough and were created as a gift upon the birth of Princess Charlotte.
Shoes: LK Bennett “Fern” in taupe trench leather
Clutch: LK Bennett “Natalie” clutch
Outfit #3 : Kaziragna Campfire
Kate’s bold, beautiful Anna Sui dress needed no spotlight at the evening’s campfire. This is the first time the Duchess has publicly worn Anna Sui, a popular designer known for beautiful craftsmanship. Anna from My Small Obsessions quickly IDed Kate’s earrings as an oldy-but-goody – while they remain unidentified, they date back at least since 2006! The Duchess chose her trusty Pied a Terre “Imperia” wedges to complete the look.
