Day one of the Royal Tour India and Bhutan is in the books! It was a whirlwind day of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s arrival including three outfit changes for the Duchess, who also took the opportunity to wear an outfit from her first local designer. You can get all the details of the day’s events here and the evening’s Bollywood reception here, but this post is all about what our favourite Duchess wore – and where you can either get it or repliKate it!
Outfit #1: Arrival in Alexander McQueen
Kate arrived at the Taj Mahal Hotel in bespoke Alexander McQueen from the pre-fall 2016 collection. The peplum and paisley dress was taken from the runway, shown below in its original form and with a photo of Kate in the dress.
Dress: Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2016
Clutch: Russell and Bromley Curvy
Earrings: Cassandra Goad’s Temple of Heaven
Outfit #2 : Cricket & Charitable Events in Anita Dongre
The Duke and Duchess then moved onto their charitable engagements and sporting part of the day, and Kate changed into a look from her first local designer, Anita Dongre. This look was very much a budget friendly look, with the most expensive item clocking in at $236 USD.
Dress: Anita Dongre Gulrukh Tunic Dress (Still available at $236.60 USD)
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Wayfarers ($140 USD)
Earrings: Filigree Bead Short Drop Earrings by Accessorize (An astonishing $16 USD)
Outfit #3 : Glitz and Glamour in Jenny Packham

Shoes: Prada Suede Strap Sandal
Earrings: Amrapali Drop Earrings (Lapis & Diamond version from GILT)
What was your favourite? We can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring!
