Today, William and Kate attended services in honour of the end of RAF Search and Rescue (SAR) Operations. The Search and Rescue Operations have now been privatized and was undoubtedly a personal event for the couple, who lived on Anglesey for three years while William was a pilot with the RAF.
Kate chose a coat we have seen twice before – the LK Bennett Ami, from the 2011 Fall/Winter Collection – for today’s events. For those counting, we have seen the coat once in Copenhagen in 2011 for a UNICEF event and again for London’s Poppy Day events in 2013. The piece has long since sold out, but fortunately is a classic cut, colour and style which means we could see the coat again on Kate in the future.
Similar coat styles currently available:
Kate chose to accessorize with a Lock & Co. hatter (repliKates here), a Mulberry clutch, new Russell & Bromley Pinpoint heels that we don’t believe we have seen before and a pair of silver drop earrings.
We loved seeing the Duchess for the second time in two days – and in a much different capacity than her Editorial Guest Editor engagement yesterday. We will next see the Duchess in a formal capacity when the Royal Couple visits Scotland.
