The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry – affectionately known as The Royal Trio – attended the glittering red carpet premiere of the latest James Bond film, SPECTRE.
Tonight’s film premiere was 2015’s Royal Film Performance. William and Kate have attended the event in previous years, including 2013’s premiere of Mandela.
The film’s stars attended the event and walked the red carpet as well, including Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux and Naomi Harris. The real stars of tonight’s event were truly William, Kate, and Harry, who everyone was eager to see at such a glamorous event…
…Everyone except Harry, who was a little too eager to meet Daniel Craig! According to Richard Palmer, Prince Harry was a total fanboy and even asked Mr. James Bond himself for an autograph. My, how the tables turned!
SPECTRE is the 27th James Bond film, and the fourth film with Daniel Craig as Bond. SPECTER’s synopsis is described as: A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
For tonight’s glittering event, the Duchess of Cambridge chose a bespoke ice blue gown by Jenny Packham. The gown was very reminiscent of 1940’s film stars’ red carpet gowns, and seemed very fitting for such an event.
Kate accessorized with her Jimmy Choo “Vamp” heels and carried a new clutch by Jenny Packham. For jewels, there was no shortage of sparkle – Kate borrowed a pair of Robinson Pelham earrings from her mother, Carole. Carole wore these earrings and the matching necklace to her daughter’s 2011 wedding!
The fabulous film premiere was another fabulous event for Wills, Kate, and Hazza! We love seeing them out together, especially in such glamorous circumstances!
