William and Kate this evening attended an NBA Basketball game featuring the Brooklyn Nets and the Cleveland Cavaliers, in Brooklyn, New York.
Why would William and Kate attend a basketball game, you might ask? They were there to highlight a theme William spent the morning discussing in Washington – conservation efforts. The NBA Cares charity has a partnership with United for Wildlife and is aiming to use the span of the NBA to help raise awareness among a younger generation of the negative effects of purchasing illegal wildlife trade goods.
And… Yes! Kate met Beyoncé!
Their Royal Highnesses also met Lebron James, the star of the Cleveland Cavaliers, who gifted them with jerseys – including one for George!
Their chat was obviously light hearted and fun, as this tweet demonstrates:
LeBron asks Prince William what size shoe he wears. The Prince's response: "Half the size of yours" #RoyalVisitUSA

Kate wore the same outfit as she had previously worn to the Conservation reception, a Tory Burch Bettina coat, black J Brand maternity jeans, black suede pumps and finished off the look with a Mulberry clutch.
