Everyone loves Kate’s style, from her elegant ball gowns to her casual jeans and flats. These styles are so versatile for our non-royal lives, whether we are attending holiday parties or our children’s playdates. However, not everyone has a size 6 physique. Does this mean we can’t enjoy that same royal style? Of course not! When Kristen on Twitter reached out to us asking for plus size repliKates, we delivered!
One of Kate’s classic and most versatile styles is the navy blue Erdem dress worn on the Canada tour in 2011. Perfect for cocktail parties, weddings, holiday fetes, church services, baby showers, and maybe even to meet the Queen! This dress will get a ton of wear, and with a comfortable stretch fabric and flattering ruched details, you’ll love this piece for years to come.
We are OBSESSED with this nearly-perfect repliKate for the Temperley “Odele” coat. Kate wears this coat with jeans and boots or a little cocktail dress and heels. The asymmetrical zip and tie waist with be extra flattering, even with two sweaters and a scarf to keep warm!
THE SKINNY JEANS
Kate’s casual outfits almost always involve skinny jeans. And why not? They’re designed to actually make you look thinner, and with stretch and spandex they are oh-so-comfy. We love NYDJ (Not Your Daughter’s Jeans) for their flattering fit and wide range of sizes. They conceal, smooth, tighten, and show off your fabulous figure. Add a pair of wedges and a blazer and you’re done!
Along with these closet basics, you can always use a new dress or two. Or ten. We don’t judge. We found these dresses and thought they were perfectly princess-y plus-sized repliKates!
All week long, we will be tweeting our favorite plus-sized repliKates on our Twitter account, @WWKD_Official! Send us a tweet with the hashtag #plussizeprincess with your favorite repliKates, or request an item that you want to see in a plus-sized style!
