Very exciting news out of Clarence House today – Kate and William are expecting baby #2!!
Around 10:30 AM BT, Clarence House released the following statement via twitter:
Sources are reporting that Kate, similar to her last pregnancy, is feeling unwell, again experiencing hyperemesis gravidarum. Because of this, William and Catherine made the difficult decision to announce the pregnancy very early on. She is less than 12 weeks pregnant, making sources predict an April 2015 baby. Kate is being treated at Kensington Palace under the care of royal doctors.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have only recently been made aware of this pregnancy, most likely within the last week or so. Prince George (AKA Cheeks) celebrated his first birthday on July 22, and many have been hoping to hear the pitter patter of royal feet.
The Duchess’ appointments for today have been cancelled, but remaining events are still scheduled to progress for now. Her upcoming tour of Malta will be assessed closer to the date. We are hoping Kate feels up to continuing her events – both for us, who would like to see her, but most importantly for her as it will mean she is feeling better.
Are you excited? Ready for another Great Kate wait?
