To continue our celebrations of Cheeks’ birthday, we wanted to share a little treat for our mummy readers! To all the mummies out there, you are incredible human beings and we bow to your greatness. Just like Kate, you demonstrate patience, grace, beauty, and love every day to your little ones. Spending time with babies can be the greatest memories you’ll ever make.
For some classic mummy-and-me outings, check out these George AND Kate repliKates! We teamed up with the lovely ladies from Prince George Pieces for the perfect royally-inspired ensembles for your everyday life:
A Trip to the Museum
Museums are great outings for babies! Pop them into the pram and push them around the Natural History Museum to see the various displays and exhibits. The trip will be culturally enriching and will also get you both out for a good walk. If you’re lucky, try to visit your local butterfly exhibit – there are plenty of them around the world that you can enjoy! Dress baby in comfy separates, like a soft onesie and easy-off overalls. For mummy, an easy, pretty sundress and nude flats will be perfect for strolling around!
A Day at the Park
Many of our earliest memories take place in a park, where we run around until we pass out for nap time. The fresh air and exercise is great for babies, even if they are just waddling around and plucking up dandelions. Spending time at the polo field, the play park, or just in the back yard can make for some great memories – and photos! Again, stick to comfy and easy for baby – AND for mummy! Skinny jeans, boat shoes, and an easy t-shirt is perfect for running after little ones in the grass!
Visiting the Zoo
Who doesn’t love the zoo?! It is a quintessential family outing, perfect for mummy-and-me or a full family excursion. We love seeing babies ooh-ing and aah-ing at the lions, tigers, and bears – oh my! Since zoo trips often occur in the summer, stick to loose and breezy outfits. Baby can wear a soft onesie and little shorts to keep comfortable and cool. For mummy, try a fun, lace sun dress. Instead of Kate’s woven wedges, choose woven flat sandals and carry a matching tote for sippy cups and camera!
