The Royal Tour is right around the corner! The Duchess of Cambridge has probably been planning outfits, shopping for specific pieces, and planning her suitcases for a while now. This isn’t the sort of trip where you can pack the week before!
We have studied Kate’s tour itinerary very closely, and while we know there will be some new pieces on this tour, the Duchess of Cambridge is sure to return to her old standbys for many events, especially things. The worst thing for a woman is to be at an important event with new shoes. We can feel the blisters already! We went through Kate’s closet, and selected some shoe-ins (hehehe) to appear in New Zealand and Australia.
Kate never goes far without her LK Bennett Sledge pumps. They are her signature piece, and its no wonder why! They are the perfect warm weather shoe, coodinating with casual outfits and cocktail dresses. Kate’s are probably very well broken in, making them comfortable enough for long events.
The Stuart Weitzman Corkswoon in Navy Suede and Stuart Weitzman Minx in Cork are sure to reappear. The wedges are comfortable and very stylish right now. These pairs both headlined during the 2012 Southeast Asia tour, and we won’t be surprised to see them again this time around!
Since we expect some casual events and events that require a lot of walking, sometime on uneven ground, the Sebago “Bala” boat shoe is another likely option. It will be perfect for the handful of boating events or even for a walk around Ayer’s Rock or the Taronga Zoo.
For other events that require a lot of standing, but more even ground, Kate might opt for the lower, more comfortable Pied a Terre Imperia wedges, which she has loved for a while – most notably, when she left the Lindo Wing with Prince George!
Which shoes do you think Kate might wear during the Royal Tour? Let us know your thoughts!
