Keeping Up With Cambridge

Greetings fellow Kate lovers! I hope you all had a chance to celebrate the Royal wedding anniversary and re-live some of the joy and excitement that was felt on that day two years ago. While Kate didn’t get to spend the day with her beloved, she did do something she cares a great deal about, which is volunteering her time to bring smiles to the faces of children in need.

This Week

Kate at Naomi House

April 29-This week was Children’s Hospice Week, and to pay tribute Kate decided to spend her 2nd wedding anniversary visiting Naomi Children’s Hospice. Naomi House provides children and young adults who have life-limiting conditions with support, and care. She looked glowing in a pastel peach Tara Jarmon coat, a custom shift dress, and her beloved nude LK Bennett heels. Children’s hospice care is clearly very dear to Kate’s heart and it was important to her to spend time getting to know the children and their parents. Unfortunately, William could not be there with his bride of 2 years as he was on RAF duty in Wales, however it was previously noted that the couple enjoyed a private dinner in London last week.

May 3- On Friday it was announced that Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who was the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s private secretary, will be resigning from his full time role after eight long years. Mr. Lowther- Pinkerton was such an integral part of their lives, so much so, that his son William was a pageboy in Kate and William’s wedding. Mr. Lowther-Pinkerton wants to explore other endeavors, but will not be leaving St. James’s Palace until a few months after the baby is born in September. His presence will surely be missed after his many years of service and friendship to the royal couple.

We know that Kate will not be having a baby shower, but wouldn’t it be fun to imagine what it would be like if she did? Well look no further because royal family lookalikes did just that! In this photo spoof “Kate” looks on joyfully as she toasts her “family” (with fruit punch of course) to the future heir or heiress. If only we could have joined in on the fun discussing onesies and prams too!

Next Week

No official engagements have been announced, but be sure to check back often as we hope to see some impromptu sightings!
