There is nothing as easy, style-wise, as putting on a dress. They are cute, they are practical and more importantly, they’re easy to grab, throw on and look put together and stylish. They’re my go-to for work.
I recently did some work wardrobe shopping and came home with two dresses and am majorly pining over a third. I thought I’d share with you some of my personal top dress picks for this Spring – and then show you how the top 3 looked on me (As reference, real world model me is about a US size 8 depending on the dress)
Theory Navy Dellera Dress – it’s perfect for the office with a blazer or cardigan, on trend with peplum but not terribly seasonal and can likely be worn for a few years to come. This is one that definitely came home with me!
Another Theory – the Nikay stripe dress. This dress looks like tweed, but is a light fabric which is super flattering. I love how it’s a business material but a cute cut that can be appropriate for the office with the addition of the blazer. This beauty has a permanent home with me now!
Lastly was an amazing Pink Tartan dress- simply called the Stripe Dress in black. The material is thick enough to be flattering, but soft enough to be comfortable. Adorable for work or play… But was double the price of either Theory dress. I didn’t buy it, but am seriously debating as it’s slimming, comfortable and also 3/4 sleeve length, which I love.
