We cannot believe how quickly two years has gone past. To say that April 29, 2011 was a magical day just isn’t enough. In our pajamas, we watched a fairytale come true right before our eyes. We laughed when the ring wouldn’t fit, we cried when they said “I will,” and we dreamed – dreamed that they would live happily ever after.
We wish the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a lifetime of love, good health, and happiness. The only thing happier in this world than a wedding is a baby, and with Baby Cambridge nearly here, there is so much to celebrate.
As traditional gals, the WWKD team looked to protocol for our second anniversary celebrations. So, after we recreated the cakes and poured the champagne (weeks in advance, to practice of course), we looked for presents to buy for ourselves! In the UK, the second anniversary gift is traditionally a paper product, ideally one that is meaningful and useful.
So while we toast the champagne, eat the traditional wedding cake, and watch our Royal Wedding DVD one too many times, we gifted ourselves our very own Kate-inspired stationery, thanks to the ever-so-lovely Susannah from LetterLoveDesign.
Susannah worked exclusively with WWKD to design custom, Kate-inspired stationery. The gorgeous flat note cards and envelopes come with a lace envelope liner for extra style. The darling notepad, perfect for jotting shopping lists, was especially inspired by Kate’s navy blue Erdem dress – the navy coloring and the blue lace border are reminiscent of the most “repliKate-ed” dress to date!
Are you dying over this stationery? WWKD readers will receive a special 15% discount, using the code “Kate15”
Even better – one lucky lady (or lad) will receive their very own set of personalized notecards with our Royal Anniversary Giveaway! Enter below:
