There are all kinds of pictures which have popped up in the last couple of days of Kate Baby Bump out and about in London with her “baby bump”.
When I saw the first picture in the cape I immediately thought “Oh! The wind caught it at a weird angle during that shot” (as it is flowing open) and I just can’t see it in the other picture. I was pretty much sure that there was no such thing as a baby bump in these pictures- but let’s face it folks… She’s pregnant and it’s going to be there one day soon. With a due date in July, that makes her about 4 months pregnant. I decided the best way for me to look at this objectively was to compare Kate to myself pregnant at the same time. I figured I would put her at 3-4 months pregnant for the sake of looking at pictures of me as her abs are definitely more toned than mine ever were.
I was not anywhere close to Kate’s thinness when I got pregnant; in fact, I was probably 10 pounds heavier than I should have been. But, you can see from these photos (one in white shirt was closer to 3 months, grey sweater closer to 4) that there is definitely something brewing in my midsection. You might just think I was gaining weight if you didn’t know… But something’s changing.
Women pregnant with their first children and who are in good shape (Kate!) tend to show later because the ab muscles are so toned and tight. Therefore, I’m kind of inclined to believe that there actually is a little something there with Kate. The wind is blowing the cape fortuitously for the editors of US Weekly and the other one shows nothing of a belly bump, but I think it’s legit to say there is probably something there that wasn’t there before.
What do you think?
