A very exciting day for all of Catherine’s fans – today is her 31st birthday! Millions of people will send Kate a card, a warm thought or, if you’re particularly aggressive, an actual gift. Personally, I wanted to share in the festivities. I wanted to do something special for Catherine’s birthday. I wanted to send good karma, warm fuzzies, and loving thoughts to our favorite future queen on her special day.
And I’m willing to bet you do, too! So here are some ways you can celebrate Catherine’s 31st birthday.
Nothing makes me feel more confidant than wearing a Kate-inspired outfit. In fact, most of my outfits are Kate-inspired! Pick out the perfectly princessy ensemble to wear to work, out shopping, or on a date tonight. Wear your copy-Kate sapphire ring, inspired earrings, or Sledge-like pumps and celebrate in style!
Pop Open the Bubbly
Whether it’s 2 buck Chuck, or Veuve Cliquot, a toast to another 31 years of health and happiness is a great way to send well wishes! And plus, there is never a bad time for champagne. Pop open a bottle and sip from a ladylike flute.
Let Them Eat Cupcakes
One of my favorite cupcake bakeries is decorated in all sorts of pink – even a giant, vintage pink fridge. Nothing makes me feel more ladylike and princess-like than being surrounded by my favorite color. Another great way to enjoy Kate’s birthday is to splurge on your New Year’s Resolution and pick up your favorite cupcake. Red velvet, chocolate, or beer bacon cupcakes will add a little joy to your day and Kate’s.
Let Them Eat Chocolate Biscuit Cake
Honestly, the best way to celebrate is with cake. Keep your cake Kate-inspired by making William’s Grooms Cake from the Royal Wedding: a chocolate biscuit cake. You can find the recipe online and even Piggly Wiggly sells tea biscuits!
Relive the best day ever
If you can come up with a better day, I’m willing to hear it. Spend the evening in your favorite pyjamas with William and Catherine. Watch the Royal Wedding on DVD and relive the wonderful memories of that amazing April morning. I’m sure Kate will be reliving her favorite memories, too!
Tell us how you celebrated Kate’s birthday!
