The American Thanksgiving is one of the most monumental days in our nation. We gather with our loves ones and eat a giant bird and carb-load until our pants unbutton, followed by a cozy sleep.
Many things in our nation have changed, but the notion of Thanksgiving has always stayed the same. Family, turkey, American family values.
My life has changed irreparably in the past year. It has taken a route I had not planned on. But on this Thanksgiving day, I wanted to make public what I am thankful for.
I am thankful that I was born in a nation that provides exposure to the marvelous cultures of the world, and encourages we go exploring.
I am thankful for the books I’ve read that have taken me into castles, palaces, royal bedchambers and far off places.
I am thankful for my friends and family, the ones who know me behind closed doors and love me anyways.
I am thankful for the British Royal Family for inspiring so many fairytale dreams.
I am thankful for Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, who influences my life daily.
I am thankful for this website, our wonderful readers, and my amazing partner, the Duchess – you give amazing purpose to my life and inspire me everyday.
xoxo The Heiress
